Let it Snow

The girls have been waiting for snow since October. I was awoken this morning by an overly excited two year old who happened to look out her window and see this beautiful white stuff falling from the sky. It was 7:15am. She was ready and wanted to go out and play, NOW. We convinced the girls to wait until after lunch, at which point the snow had stopped falling, and there were a good 3-4 inches on the ground.

They had a blast. Daddy pulled them around on a sled (not a lot of hills here). They'd fall out and do it again. They threw snowballs at eachother. They tried to build a snowman, but the snow wasn't sticky enough. A while later, red-cheeked and runny-nosed, I managed to bribe them to come inside and warm up with hot chocolate and marshmallows. What a fun day.

Really loved these snow pictures, esp. loved the 3rd one with the exuberance and fun you caught with both your dd and hubby. Way to go, perfect capture and perfect exposure!

What fun!!!

I see the second one w/a much tighter crop, maybe some brightening to bring out her face more and a color pop.

Great job capturing the fun. Your girls look so cute all rugged up. The first time my DD saw snow she was so disappointed - she thought it would be all soft and fluffy, not this cold, wet stuff.
